A thoughtful welcome before day one.
A new hire's experience of your company doesn't start at the kickoff meeting. It starts the moment a branded box arrives at their door, considered, complete, expected. BrightKey runs the operations behind that moment so your HR team doesn't have to.
You design the kit. We store the components, assemble each box, and ship it to every new hire, anywhere in the country. The first impression handled, every time.

HR shouldn't be a packing line. So we became one.
The first week of employment is when belonging is built. The handshake, the welcome message, the box that arrives the day before someone's start date with their name on the label, every one of those small moments compounds into how a new hire feels about your company on day thirty, day ninety, day one year.
The work behind those moments is what burns out HR teams. Inventory tucked into closets and storage rooms. Last-minute shipping for the hire nobody knew about until Monday. Address spreadsheets, postage labels, missing items, and the constant low hum of operational guilt that no welcome kit is quite as good as it should be.
BrightKey handles all of it. You design the experience you want every new employee to have. We make sure it actually arrives, every time, exactly the way you intended.
Every moment matters. Especially the first one.
From the offer letter to the anniversary, your new hires move through a series of moments that define how they feel about the company. BrightKey runs the operations behind the ones that arrive in a box.
Accepting
A signed offer triggers the kit. You send a name and an address, and the work begins.
Anticipating
The branded box arrives at their door before day one. The signal that someone was expected.
Belonging
The unboxing moment. Branded swag, hardware accessories, a personal welcome letter from leadership.
Recognizing
Anniversary gifts, milestone awards, promotion recognition. The same care, the same workflow.
Continuing
Quarterly gifts, ERG materials, team kits, holiday boxes. An ongoing operations layer for people programs.
One signal from your team. A complete welcome at their door.
Your HR team's job is to onboard people, not to fulfill packages. Our model is designed around that simple truth. You hand us the signal, a name and an address from your hire tracker, and we handle everything that happens between that signal and the moment a new employee opens their box.
We store your branded components. We pull, pack, and present each kit with the consistency of an operations team that has been doing this for decades. We ship direct to home for remote hires, to your office for in-person starts, or to a conference for cohort onboarding events.
No portals, no ticket queues, no "submit a request" forms. Just a dedicated program manager who knows your kit, your brand, and your hiring rhythm.

Whatever you want a new hire to feel we'll put inside.
Every program is different. Some are minimalist. Some are elaborate. Some are tier-based for executive versus new graduate hires. Below is the typical scope our HR clients run through us.
Notebooks, water bottles, tees, hats, anything with your wordmark. We hold the inventory and assemble to your kit specification.
Mouse, keyboard, monitor stand, headset, laptop sleeve, cables. The everyday tools that pair with the laptop your IT team ships separately.
Signed by leadership, printed and presented as part of the unboxing. The personal touch that no Slack message can replicate.
Physical documents that pair with your digital onboarding flow. The reference materials new hires actually keep on their desk.
Different contents for engineering, sales, hourly, or executive hires. We track each variant and assemble based on the role you send us.
Local coffee, snacks, gift cards, handwritten notes, ERG materials. The small details that turn a kit into a welcome.
Custom boxes, tissue paper, inserts. The unboxing is part of the gift. We handle the presentation layer with the same care as the contents.
Anniversaries, promotions, work-iversaries, retirement gifts. The same kit infrastructure, extended across the full employee lifecycle.
End-of-year gifts, company-anniversary boxes, summer kits, all-hands appreciation mailings. Annual moments handled with the same operational rigor.
HR teams at companies at every stage of growth.
BrightKey supports HR and people operations teams across the company spectrum, from fast-scaling startups to established enterprises. The work scales. The care doesn't change.
Companies hiring at pace, where the in-house welcome kit process broke around the 20th hire. Predictable kits, regardless of monthly volume swings.
Remote-first and hybrid companies whose new hires live across the country. Direct-to-home shipping that arrives before day one, every time.
Larger organizations with tier-based kit programs, multiple role variants, and procurement requirements. The institutional rigor a complex program needs.

What HR teams ask before signing on.
Do we have to commit to a minimum volume?
No. We build programs around your hiring pace, whether that's a dozen kits a month or several hundred. If your hiring slows, your program slows. We don't penalize you for it. Most clients start lean and scale up as their program matures.
Can you ship to home addresses for remote employees?
Yes. This is one of the most common reasons HR teams come to us. We ship directly to home addresses anywhere in the US, with tracking and timing tied to start dates. The kit arrives before day one, which is the whole point.
Who handles inventory? Do we ship things to you?
We do, and you do, once. You ship us your branded components and we store them. When stock runs low, we send your program manager an automated alert. You restock on your schedule, not ours. The closets and storage rooms at your office stay empty.
Can we have different kits for different roles or levels?
Yes. Many clients run multiple kits side by side, engineering versus sales, hourly versus salaried, new hires versus executive hires, US versus international. We track each variant and assemble based on the role indicator you send us with each hire.
How do you handle hires we add at the last minute?
Rush requests are part of HR life. We accommodate them. Most last-minute kits ship within one business day of you adding the hire to your tracker. Your program manager flags rush cases and confirms timing directly with you.
Can you integrate with our HRIS?
Yes. Our Warehouse Management System integrates with major HRIS platforms including Workday, Rippling, BambooHR, and ADP. We also accept simpler signals like shared spreadsheets or CSV exports for teams that prefer a lower-tech workflow. Custom integrations available during onboarding.
What if our kit design changes?
Programs evolve. Rebrands happen. Components get added, removed, or upgraded. Tell your program manager what's changing, send us the new components, and we'll roll the new kit in. No setup fees for revisions.
Can we get certification documentation for our procurement team?
Yes. Documentation for all our certifications, WBENC, WOSB, SOC 1, SOC 2 Type II, PCI compliance, and EPA SmartWay partnership, is available to procurement and compliance teams on request. We provide everything your vendor onboarding process needs.
The first impression handled, every time.
